Uninsured motorist property damage
Uninsured motorist property damage provides coverage when the property damage has occurred to the insured .Even if the negligent operator also happens to be an insured, the limits of liability carried by the driver may not be sufficient to cover the damage.
The only solution to this problem is getting an uninsured motorist property damage coverage. Incase if the insurance doesn't have collision coverage, Underinsured Motorist Property
Damage coverage pays up to a certain amount for the repairs of the insured car. The limits may be lower or higher which varies from one state to another.
On the other hand if the insured does not have collision coverage, Underinsured Motorist Property Damage coverage pays for only the collision deductible. However this is also limited to few states. But this coverage is not a substitute for collision coverage. It does not cover the entire vehicle repair or replacement costs. It covers only the damages caused by an insured driver with inadequate liability coverage.
